Musso Style Bowie w/ companion Knife

This knife is modeled after a traditional Musso style Bowie.

The blade strap is said to have been used to slow or stop another combatant’s blade of parried with the spine.

This example is made from 5160 carbon steel with brass accents and a teak handle.

The companion is a 1095 carbon steel blade with brass and Teak.

I built one sheath to house both knives and included a “frog” for the sheath to allow the knife to be taken off without undoing your belt.
