Nick’s Mexico Knife
This is the knife I built to take to Mexico this year on the Desperado Run to EDR in San Filipe.
Those that have been following along, or have seen the “Desperado Run” video I did on Youtube, you’ll know that I was arrested in Mexico along with Big Meas and Damn it Gary in Mazatlan for having knives that were too big! We were lucky enough to be let go thanks to $40USD and our bud Ruly Zamora. The best part being that we got out knives back!
I decided then, that I would make myself a small knife to take so my Huckleberry wouldn’t be at risk of not making it home.
As my luck this year has gone, I blew up two motors on the way home from Daytona Bike Week! So, I had some motors to fix which kept me from going to the Prowl in Bisbee AZ and the trip to Mexico.
I’d love for someone to grab this up and then make the trip to Mexico that I missed.
Don’t worry, I’ll make myself another one before I go south again!
This knife is a 1095 high carbon steel blade with a mild steel guard, vintage “double green line” Westinghouse micarta. The handle is Teak with a mild steel pin.
A right handed cross draw sheath is made for this knife.
3-1/16” blade length
7” overall
This knife features a reverse makers mark which shows that this knife I made specifically for myself. (I do it to all of mine)
