Nickfinger

The very first belt knife I owned as a young Boy Scout was a “Old Timer Sharpfinger” Now a days they are the “Shrade Sharpfinger” 

Man I thought the Sharpfinger was the coolest knife!  I still own one today.  This knife is my take on the classic.  I drew this up from memory,  and I know that the blade is smaller and shorter than the original.  As well as the handle has a bit more curve to it and is shorter than the original.

My goal here wasn’t to “copy” a classic knife,  but to honor it and put a spin on it.

This one has a 2-3/4” blade and is 6-1/4” overall. Made from 1095 high carbon steel, the “Harmon” or differential line on the blade shows where the steel is hardened for  a sharp, keen edge. The bolsters are mild steel and the handle scales are African Blackwood.
